Black coffee in one hand and a pen in the other - welcome!

Whatever had you stumble onto this page, I’m certainly glad you’ve joined me in this space (insert firm handshake & a smile here). Whatever’s been on your mind today, I hope your visit finds you inspired, intrigued, or at the very least not alone.

What can I tell you about myself? That I stare at the walls in my head as my minds eye glazes out the world while I exist? How when I see a person in a room I want to know what makes them function, how the cells before me evolved and formed into the flesh filled walls before me? That a quiet reserved or sarcastic response, flags the opportunity, an open invitation to listen in...to find out who you are…to understand all in front of me? How the construct of time is a constant curiosity as the hours “tick” by?

Perhaps, I’ll start with the more tangible. Existing as a graphic artist & creative, I find myself navigating moments in time and mind; creating organized chaos on any surface available at arms length.

Stick around long enough for me to spill my coffee on cue and you will find out quickly how true this is.

Born, raised and living in Michigan, I attended Saginaw Valley State University and dwell in the corporate world as a Senior Graphic Designer M-F during the daylight hours. This I truly enjoy, as I tightrope walk pushing boundaries/creative problem solving while maintaining a professional and structured realm of the Dow brand.

After that, all bets are off and I am free to roam around in my thoughts and those of others intertwining and mixing and pulling apart the tangled webs that we are as humans.

Taking broken can opener if you will and revealing the life and subtle deaths inside of each of us.

For instance:

How many thoughts have you left unspoken today?
How many truths etched into the your tables surface or a bathroom wall far from home?
I like to see the unseen and hear the unheard, even if never spoken aloud.

Feel free to drop a note or a thought

And if no one’s told you already, you matter, have a great day.
