Your favorite skateboard design for Tokyo 2020 Summer Games revealed.

To celebrate Skateboarding as a new sport debuting at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Games, the Tokyo Team USA planned to display customized designed skateboards at the USA House during the Summer Games.  As a Worldwide Olympic Partner and the Official Chemistry Company of the Olympic Games, Dow has the opportunity to submit a design for one of the skateboards to be on display. 

Dow Studio 2020 created designs for employees to vote on their favorite. The votes have been tallied and employee’ top choice was “Koi Luck” created by Lakyn Miller.   

When asked about the inspiration for the design, here’s what Lakyn has to say, “the design is all encompassing – the koi fish symbolizes the fortune, luck, and prosperity wished to all participants at the 2020 Olympic games”.
